Badgers break into AP top 25 poll

MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW) - It's been a long time coming, but the Wisconsin men's basketball team is back in that social circle of team's ranked in the top 25.

The Badgers must have done something right last week, As the coaches have them at 19 and the Associated Press says the Badgers are number 20.

For the previous 12 weeks, Wisconsin was on the outside looking in, but its win over 3rd ranked Michigan on Saturday, obviously proved something to the voters.

Let's not forget about the Badgers double-overtime victory over Iowa on Wednesday.  Now, the way Wisconsin gets the job done, is far from pretty. Getting respect from everyone is tough, but that doesn't bother the badgers.

Badgers forward Ryan Berggren says, "What other people this is fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but we have a group of guys in that locker room that believe and are going to fight till the very end, until you tell us you cant play anymore basketball and we're just going to find a way to get it done."
