LA CROSSE, WI (WXOW)—A court appearance Tuesday for two men police arrested in connection with shooting two rounds into a home at 2231 Kane Street.

It happened shortly after 2:00 a.m.

Police arrested 31-year-old Eric Loomis and 27-year-old Michael Vang.

Police said shots were fired at the home and then two men drove off.

When an officer tried to pull them over they drove away and hit a snow bank on St. James Street.  Although both men ran off, they were eventually caught by police.

According to La Crosse Police, a shotgun and ammunition were found in the car.

According to La Crosse County District Attorney Tim Gruenke, a third person, 18-year-old Cody Branter, also had a role in the crime.

Gruenke said Branter provided the keys to the car used in the shooting.

All three men are in the La Crosse County Jail on $50,000 cash bonds.

The District Attorney's Office intends to file the criminal complaints on Wednesday.
