Sparta, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A plea Thursday from a Sparta man arrested in connection to a fatal crash that killed the man's brother.
According to Monroe County District Attorney Dan Cary, Jason Schodeberg entered a no-contest plea to a felony count of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
Schodeberg was arrested in June after a lengthy investigation into the crash that killed his brother in July 2009, in Cashton.
Authorities say at the time of the accident it was not determined who the driver of the car was.
But officers say they believe Schodeberg was the driver and had been drinking.
Schodeberg's brother, 30-year-old Glenn Schodeberg was killed in the crash.
A sentencing date has not been set.
