Walker proposes new budget for Wisconsin travel infrastructure

MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW)-  Governor Scott Walker announced Friday his plan to invest $6.4 billion in Wisconsin's transportation infrastructure.  This also includes $824 million in new state funds. "My budget will invest in Wisconsin's strong network of roads, bridges, highways, ports, airports, and freight rails,"said Walker.

Governor Walker's plan will prioritize and make sensible operational reforms so Wisconsin can continue to maintain and develop existing transportation system.
