MADISON (WXOW) -- Two years ago at this time, Gov. Scott Walker was witnessing the early stages of a mass protest at the State Capitol.
The tumultuous times that followed the introduction of Act 10 are now the subject of a new book coming out in March, entitled "More Than They Bargained For: Scott Walker, Unions And The Fight For Wisconsin."
Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel Capitol Reporters Jason Stein and Patrick Marley wrote the book and will discuss it on Capitol City Sunday this weekend.
They say Governor Walker was a cautious participant in the process.
"The Governor was not going to agree to a sit down interview, specifically for our book, but in the course of our reporting day-to-day as journalists, we were able to ask him many questions over the two years that we did this book," said Marley.
Stein and Marley say they also uncovered some new facts that are included in the book.
