Grand View sends Viterbo MBB to an early exit

La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW)  The Viterbo men's basketball team saw their season come to an end with a 76-72 overtime loss to Grand View Wednesday at Beggs Gymnasium.

The game a first round match-up in the MCC Tournament.

Viterbo's Alex Koeller hit a three pointer with 3 seconds left to send the game to overtime.

But Grand View outscored the V-Hawks 9-5 in the OT to win it.

Alex Sheforgen had 24 points and 8 rebounds to lead Viterbo.

Matt Turba had 17 points and Koeller had 14.

Viterbo's season ends with a 16-15 record.
