LA CROSSE, WI (WXOW)—Northwoods International School held a read-a-thon on Friday to raise money for their school wide service project.
The kids are hoping to raise $4,000 to help the community of Santa Celia in Nicaragua build a community library.
Volunteers read to students all day long, from 9 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon.
Our very own Daybreak anchors, Amy DuPont, Lindsay Hayes and Alex Kirchner spent some time with the students reading this morning.
