Undated, (WXOW) - The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is reporting that 15 people have died in snowmobile related incidents this winter.
That is an increase of five people since last year.
The DNR says factors causing the deaths include speed, alcohol, and nighttime driving.
It also says more snowfall this winter may have contributed.
If you have a snowmobile, DNR officials say be safe when out on the trials and pay attention to changing conditions with the changing seasons.
