ST. PAUL, Minnesota (WXOW) - A bill to expand Rochester's Mayo Clinic is advancing through the Minnesota legislature.
The House Government Operations Committee advanced the measure and added provisions to increase public funding.
Mayo is asking for almost $600 million from state and local funds.
The money would pay for infrastructure upgrades.
The bill will face its biggest test so far in the House taxes committee.
