
ONALASKA, Wisconsin (WXOW)-- The Onalaska Police Department and News 19 would like to congratulate fifth graders at St. Paul's Lutheran School in Onalaska for their hard work with D.A.R.E graduation.
A class of about 25 graduated from the program on Tuesday afternoon.
The D.A.R.E program's goal is to give kids the life skills they need to avoid involvement with drugs, gangs, and violence.
Onalaska Mayor Joe Chilsen, Police Chief Jeff Trotnic, Police Officer Leah Myers and News 19's Lindsey Hayes awarded the children their certificates.
