
Bateleur EagleWABASHA, Minnesota (WXOW) - Eagles from around the world are featured at a special festival in Wabasha this weekend.
The National Eagle Center's Soar with the Eagles Festival is Saturday and Sunday.
One of the main events is a bird show from the World Bird Sanctuary that presents one of the world's largest eagles, a Wedge-Tailed Eagle from Australia, one of the smallest, a Long-Crested Eagle, and a Bateleur Eagle.
Audience members can also get a thrill when a Eurasian Eagle Owl, one of the world's largest owls, flies overhead during the show.
There are also events for children about eagle habitat plus the opportunity to watch eagles from the Center's observation deck.
There is an admission fee for adults, seniors, and youth ages 4-17.
