Icy conditions to blame for one-vehicle accident in Township of Preston

TOWNSHIP OF PRESTON (WXOW) - UPDATE: A Whitehall woman is in fair condition Friday after a crash in the Township of Preston.

The crash happened Thursday at about 5:45pm.

Trempealeau County Officials say 55-year-old Kathy Gabriel was driving on Irvins Coulee Road, when she lost control of her car and rolled into a ditch.  Gabriel was airlifted to Gundersen Lutheran in La Crosse with severe injuries.  Her condition was upgraded Friday morning to fair.

Officials say icy roads caused the crash.
