LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW)— A little cold and snow didn't stop the St. Patrick's Day parade.
Many braved the weather to enjoy Irish dancing and music from the floats that headed down Main Street. Local bands played Irish tunes and kids lined the street to collect candy.
"We started I think 4 years ago when the parade started," said Steve Noffke, who's band played in the parade. "Some friends of mine have a little band, kinda got volunteered. Last year was 82 degrees it's, who knows, 22 degrees. We're still here, love it, you bet."
The parade wrapped up at the library and everyone headed to the Eagle's Club for Irish stew.
