WEST SALEM, Wisconsin (WXOW)—Businesses got together for the 7th annual Celebrate West Salem event.
At West Salem High School 70 businesses and civic organizations set up booths. The idea is to allow local companies to showcase their products and services. Its hosted by the West Salem Business Association.
West Salem is a community of about 5000 and one local business owner says the small town allows for stronger customer relations, but it also poses some challenges.
"In a smaller town we have to compete with larger areas, in La Crosse and Onalaska, and so for us to come together as a group, it gives us an opportunity to pool our resources and draw people to the community," said Dan Eoriatti, owner of West Salem Chiropractic.
