LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - Parking for students continues to be a concern at Western Technical in La Crosse.
The college hosted a meeting to discuss solutions March 18.
The meeting featured members of the City Municipal Parking Utility Board as well as Western Administrators.
The purpose was to share the findings of a parking and traffic study done by a consulting firm.
The study looked at traffic patterns and the number of available parking spaces, and recommended improvements.
The first action on the agenda is to build a new parking ramp on the corner of La Crosse and Eighth streets.
That project is set to start this summer.
