BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin (WXOW) - A Black River Falls area man is arrested for his 13th drunk driving charge Monday afternoon.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, they were called about 2:30 p.m. to help the Ho-Chunk Nation Police Department with a vehicle that had slid off the roadway in the Town of Komensky.

When the deputy got to the scene, he met with the other officer and took into custody Herman F. Decorah, 59, for his 13th offense OWI, and other traffic charges.

According to information from the Sheriff's Department, Decorah was the lone occupant of the vehicle and headed north on Mission Road when he lost control of his vehicle and slid into a ditch and got stuck.

The officer from the Ho-Chunk Nation Police Department found Decorah passed out behind the wheel with the vehicle still in drive.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office is awaiting results of a legal blood draw from the State of Wisconsin Department of Hygiene.
