ONALASKA, Wisconsin (WXOW)  The Glenn Miller Orchestra is coming to Onalaska High School.  They're set to perform a concert Thursday, April 25th at 6:00 PM.

Onalaska Band Director Dawson Strutt was looking for some inspiration for his young musicians.  He discovered the Orchestra had an open date between concerts in Chicago and Minneapolis.  He contacted the band and let them know what he wanted to do and the band booked the date.

Before the Orchestra performs its two hour concert on the 25th, they're offering a jazz clinic to area jazz musicians.  The clinic is free thanks to Dave and Barb Skogen.  The clinic is from 4 until 5 PM.  Strutt says most anyone is welcome, in his words, anyone from 5 to 95.
