LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) La Crosse mayoral candidate Tim Kabat is talking about his plan for neighborhood revitalization.
Kabat wants to create what he calls, neighborhood partnership centers and neighborhood service teams.
According to a news release from Kabat, he wants to acquire distressed property and renovate the property to create the center.
Kabat says the center could be used as satellite offices for neighborhood groups and the La Crosse Police and Fire Departments for example. Then, Kabat says the center could be sold as a single family home and then, begin the process again.
He also wants to organize neighborhood service teams including city and county departments.
Kabat's goal is building community.
He's running against Doug Farmer in the April 2 election.
