Minneapolis, MINNESOTA    In the second of the day's Class A quarterfinal match ups, Rushford-Peterson led Lakeview Christian from start to finish, up by as many as 24 points on its way to a 72-54 win.

Rushford-Peterson went on an 11-0 scoring run midway through the first half and hit seven 3-pointers before halftime.

Seth Thompson was the leading scorer for the Trojans with 19 points, shooting 7-for-11 from the field.

Two of his teammates also scored in double figures—Jorli Hauge with 18 and Charlie Krambeer with 14.

Cole Kingsley led the Trojans in rebounding with 10. Rushford-Peterson shot 55.6 percent from the field for the game and out-rebounded Lakeview Christian by a margin of 36 to 22.

 Anders Broman led the Lions in points and rebounds, scoring 34 on 13-for-24 shooting and pulling down 7 boards.

Lakeview Christian scored 13 points off the fast break; Rushford tallied 32 points in the paint. Rushford-Peterson will meet Maranatha Christian Academy in the semifinal round at noon on Friday at the Target Center.
