ONALASKA, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Some locals celebrating Easter Sunday made their way to mass at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Onalaska.
The church had one of their services off-site at the vacant Timber Square building.
This is the first time the parish hosted an off-site Easter service.
Pastor Bill Bader said it was open to people of any denomination, and aimed at those who may not have a regular, spiritual home.
"We're looking at various ways to branch out into the community and to reach more people with the gospel of Christ. So we'll asses how this went and look to the future," Bader said.
A couple dozen people attended the off-site mass.
St. Paul's Lutheran also hosted three Easter service at their church.
