LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) -- The UW system's board of regents will hold one of their approximately nine annual meetings in La Crosse this week.
The regents will be sitting through a presentation by UW-La Crosse faculty and staff, as well as Chancellor Joe Gow, on Thursday morning.
They'll then convene in a series of meetings expected to last through Friday afternoon according to regent president Brent Smith.
Smith said the regents will review and likely confirm the two new chancellors recommended for hire within the UW system at the Madison and Eau Claire campuses.
He also said regents will review the Governor's state budget proposal, and hold meetings about the UW's Flexible Degree and MOOC (Massive, Open, Online Course) programs aimed at providing greater access to a college education.
