MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Wisconsin's Department of Transportation says 33 people died in traffic crashes in Wisconsin in March, or five more than the five-year average.
A year ago in March, 31 traffic fatalities occurred.
The state says 103 people have died in traffic crashes so far in 2013, or eight fewer than a year ago and six more than the five-year average.
The fatalities this year include one motorcycle driver and eight pedestrians.
