With tax time drawing near--more and more Wisconsinites will likely file online.
Wisconsin Department of Revenue Secretary, Richard Chandler says, "Last year, 80% of Wisconsin taxpayers e-filed. We are one of the top 10 states in the country."
Secretary Chandler stopped by Newsline, while making a stop in Wausau to talk with business leaders, this week.
Chandler credits the Wisconsin Department of Revenue web site with the increasing number of people e-filing. You can file free on the site and it will do the math for you. Plus, Chandler says you will get your return in days, rather that waiting weeks or even months, if you file the old-fashioned way.
