LA CROSSE, WI (WXOW) - A Logan High School senior has advanced to the National Junior Sciences and Humanities Symposium.
Colin Kenow's project won 1st place out of 13 presented projects at Regionals.
For Colin's project he designed and built a prosthetic hand using a prototyping machine.
He then used EMG sensors to measure voltage differences caused by flexing muscles in the neck.
As the Regional winner, Colin received a $2,000 dollar scholarship and will get to compete at the National Competition in Ohio this May.
