WINONA, Minnesota (WXOW) -- A West Salem woman is hurt after her car hit a train south of Winona Tuesday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol and Winona County Sheriff's Department responded shortly after 10 a.m. along Highway 61 at milepost 23.

According to Winona County Sheriff Dave Brand, the car driven by Gina M. Wilson, 24, veered off the road as she was headed north Highway 61, rolled down to the railroad tracks and hit a moving train.
