JANESVILLE, Wis. (AP) - A Janesville man has been arrested, accused of attacking two people with an ax.
Janesville police say they got a call Saturday night from a woman who said she and her male companion had been attacked by a man with an ax. The victims were hospitalized with serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The suspect fled on foot and was later arrested.
Police say the female victim and the suspect were in a relationship and the attack was not random.
