LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - La Crosse is making its way around the state with the new packaging of the Pearl Street Brewery six packs.
The Pearl Street Brewery has been brewing beer for almost fifteen years in La Crosse. And, for the first five years it was brewing on Pearl Street. Now they have redesigned their six packs to reflect where they came from with images of the very businesses that helped them get their start. Showing customers as far away as Green bay and Hudson, Wisconsin where their beer comes from.
Marketing Director for the Brewery, Tami Plourde said, "I think people want to know where their beer was made. And more and more so we are doing brewery tours people are doing brewery tours all over Wisconsin. They want to know where their beer is made, how its made. And, I think that's important to the consumer and its important for us to be able to tell the story."
Pearl Street Pale Ale was just bottled on Monday and will be in stores as early as Wednesday, featuring some familiar images from historic downtown La Crosse.
