MILWAUKEE (WXOW) -- A former top aide to Governor Walker will have to pay nearly $24,000 in restitution after he was convicted of stealing from a non-profit group.
A judge ordered 49-year-old Timothy Russell to pay $26,600.
But his defense attorney argues he already paid $3,000 during a hearing in January when he was sentenced to two years in prison.
Russell was Walker's deputy chief of staff when Walker was Milwaukee County Executive.
