Downtown Walk-Around planned for May

Posted:

LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Downtown Mainstreet is looking to get people out to local businesses and enjoy a good walk at the same time.

DMI is kicking off its 3rd Annual Downtown Walk-Around on May 3 at 5pm at Cameron Park at the start of this season's Farmer's Market.

Anyone who joins the program gets a card.  By walking around to participating downtown businesses, each person can get a stamp. Once the card is filled, participants are eligible for prizes at the end of the event on June 7.

DMI, Mayo Clinic Health Systems, and 50 other businesses are taking part in the event.

More information on the Downtown Walk-Around can be found here.
