DURAND, Wisconsin (WQOW) - The search for man in Pepin County has ended with his body discovered in the woods on Monday night.
Brad Windsor's body was found in a small hunting camper in a remote area. He was last seen on April 10th when he walked away from a group home near Durand. Law enforcement said he had a history of mental illness.
Monday night, officers were called by landowners who found his body in a camper north of Highway 10 outside of Durand. The Pepin County Sheriff's Office said it was able to positively identify him and also said it does not suspect foul play. Investigators said the camper had a heater, but it wasn't working and there was no food or drink inside. They'll now wait for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Windsor was 33 years old.
