Woman tries to hit man with car, drives into Winona house instead

WINONA, Minnesota (WXOW) -- A woman in Winona tried hitting a man with her car, but ended up driving into a house instead.

According to the Daily News, the incident happened Monday night on the 1100 block of Gilmore Avenue.

20 year-old Sydnei Matthews was arguing with a 21-year-old man.

When he walked away, Matthews allegedly ran to a car, got in, and drove towards him.

She missed him, but hit a house instead causing significant damage to both the house and car.

Matthews was not injured in the crash.

She is being charged with two counts of second-degree assault and one count of making terroristic threats and reckless driving.
