Smoke inhalation is the cause of Lake Holcombe fire deaths

LAKE HOLCOMBE (WQOW) - The two men and a child who died in last week's fire near Holcombe all died of smoke inhalation.

That's the preliminary cause of death after autopsies were done Tuesday. Five-year old Joey Sigsworth, 24-year old Josh Peacock, and 82-year old Robert Minder died in the mobile home fire.

Meanwhile, another survivor has been released from the hospital. Tabatha Jaworski was sent home Monday.

Darlene Minder remains in critical condition at a Twin Cities burn center. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
