UW-L Men's and Women's track teams dominating after day 1


La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW)  The UW-La Crosse men's track team is off to a terrific start after day one of the WIAC Outdoor Championships.

They lead the team standings with 65 points.

UW-Oshkosh is second with 54 and UW-Platteville 3rd with 50 with 7 events completed.

The Eagles received first place finishes from their 4 by 800 relay, Rob Rohe in the pole vault and Isaac Vazquez in the long jump.

UW-L has won 23 straight WIAC Outdoor Championships in a row.

The UW-L women are also in command after scoring 84.5 points on day one.

UW-Oshkosh is second with 41.5 after 7 completed events.

UW-L's Corissa Conrad won the 10,000 meters to lead the way.
