MADISON, Wisconsin (WKOW) - A fugitive whose run from police prompted schools in three Wisconsin cities to be locked down says he's ready to go back to Illinois to face charges.
Police and an FBI SWAT team searched for Paris Poe for hours Thursday (05/02) before arresting him at a traffic stop in Madison. He is wanted for a parole violation, and is a person of interest in a federal murder case.
In court Monday (05/06), he waived his extradition hearing. Poe signed the waiver, despite his hands being shackled.
