MADISON, Wisconsin (WXOW) -- The Dalai Lama is scheduled to speak before the Wisconsin state Assembly on May 14.
The Tibetan spiritual leader is in Madison for a series of panel discussions at the University of Wisconsin the following day as part of the "Change Your Mind Change the World" conference.
He is also giving a public speech on May 15 at the Overture Center in Madison.
The visit will be the ninth time the Dalai Lama has come to Madison. He is scheduled to speak to the Assembly for 45 minutes.
The public event the next day is scheduled to focus on how science, economics, environments, emotional intelligence and health care can combine to make the world a healthier, happier place.
