Green Bay, WISCONSIN - (WXOW) - Packers Rookie Camp is a wrap for 2013.
Coach Mike McCarthy said Sunday it's one of the better camps he's seen during his time in Green Bay.
And while the rookies still have a lot to learn following the first three days, they are starting to wrap their heads around the "Packer Way."
Two of the Packers three 7th round picks are receivers.
It's a position of interest following the departures of Donald Driver and Greg Jennings.
Draft picks Charles Johnson and Kevin Dorsey will have excellent shots at making the roster.
They know their 7th round distinction holds special meaning in Green Bay.
The Packers all-time leading receiver was also a 7th round pick.
"I've seen him play, and I know what a great player he was, and it wouldn't be bad if I was the next Donald Driver. I just want to learn as much as I can. I want to be a technician and do everything right and just see where that takes me," Johnson said.
"That's one of the things coach brought up here. He said, 'you know, it doesn't matter whether you're undrafted, you know we're going to give you every opportunity here to play. We're going to make sure you compete, and every single day, you come out here and you give it your all, you know.' we'll just see where the chips fall from there," Dorsey said.
