TOMAH, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Tomah Police are looking for suspects in a Thursday morning burglary and arson at a Dairy Queen restaurant.
A passerby called 9-1-1 shortly after 1:00 a.m. to report a fire at the restaurant at 218 E. Clifton Street.
Firefighters found an unattached storage building engulfed in flames according to Tomah Police Sgt. Christopher Weaver.
The fire forced the closure of Highway 12/16-East Clifton St. for about 90 while crews extinguished the blaze.
As police investigated the incident, they found that the restaurant was broken into and that the suspects forced open two freezers containing ice cream treats.
Tomah Police ask that anyone with information on the arson of the storage building and the burglary of the restaurant to call 608-374-7400.
