UW-L men's track leaps to the top


La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW)  Isaac Vazquez set the tone for the UW-La Crosse men's track team Thursday.

Vazquez won the long jump at the NCAA Div. III National Championships with a jump of 25 feet, 4 and three-quarters inches. 

It's the second year in a row the Arcadia native has won the event.

Also Thursday, Jeffrey Hill placed 7th and Rob Rohe 4th in the pole vault to pick up valuable team points.

The Eagles sit in first place after 4 events with 26 points.

The UW-L women are in 11th thanks to a 4th place finish in the long jump by Maya Vazquez.
