ST. PAUL, Minnesota (WXOW) – Following current Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie's announcement he's not running for a third term, a Rochester woman announces a bid for the seat.
Rachel Larson Bohman will run as a DFL candidate for the seat. Although she lives in Rochester now, she previously has experience working for the Secretary of State's office. Bohman also served as elections director for Anoka and Hennepin counties.
In a campaign release, Bohman said she is excited and ready to campaign. She states, "Following Secretary of State Ritchie's announcement, my team and I have hit the ground running. I am ready to travel throughout Minnesota, to meet with voters and earn their support. "
