BRF Homicide Suspect Returning to Jackson County

Black River Falls, Wisconsin (WXOW) Update: Black River Falls Police told WXOW homicide suspect Michael Harmon will be returning to Jackson County Tuesday.

Harmon was arrested on Thursday in Milwaukee on a Probation Violation.

Police say Harmon is suspected in the connection with the homicide of Angela Nelson.

Nelson's body was found inside her Black River Falls apartment on June 9th.

Black River Falls Police are not releasing any further information on the case at this time.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Black River Falls Police Chief David Frederick told WXOW homicide suspect Michael Harmon was arrested late Thursday afternoon in Milwaukee. 

Harmon was named earlier this week as a suspect in the homicide of Angela Nelson. Chief Frederick said Harmon was the last person seen with her.

On June 9, officers found Nelson's body in her Black River Falls apartment. Police have not said how she died.  Harmon is her room-mate. He was last seen in Milwaukee.

Chief Frederick told WXOW that officers returned Friday morning after traveling to Milwaukee to speak to Harmon. According to jail records, Harmon is currently in the Milwaukee County Jail on an order to detain.

Black River Falls Police do not have any further information on the arrest to release at this time.
