LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) - Vehicles from 1910's to the 1960's stopped in La Crosse Saturday night as part of the Great Race from St. Paul, Minnesota to Mobile, Alabama.
The race began Saturday in St. Paul and continues through June 30 when the group arrives in Mobile.
Several hundred people came down to Riverside Park to check out the diverse group of racers with well known vehicle names such as Ford, Chevrolet, and Buick.
But mingled in with those iconic auto names were Hudson, Studebaker, and Packard.
One of the entrants is competing in a 1938 Kenworth semi.
While it's called a race, it's a timed event rather than a speed one.
Enjoy the slideshow of images of some of the competitors in the Great Race above.
