LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) -- Mike Nadratowski hit an inside-the-park home run in the first, and Max McDowell added a homer in the 6th to lift the Loggers to a 5-1 win over Wisconsin.
That came on the heels of a rain-shortened 6-3 win Saturday night.
Nadratowski led-off the game for the Loggers with what looked to be an extra base hit down the left field line. His speed carried him around third and allowed him to beat the throw to the plate, putting La Crosse up 1-0.
Wisconsin tied the game in the third. Garrett Rucker blasted a more conventional over-the-fence home run to right evening the score at one.
Austin Rei broke the tie in favor of the Loggers in the 4th. His line drive base hit scored the run from second. Max McDowell then provided more run support with a solo home run in the 6th inning to put La Crosse on top 3-1.
The Loggers would go on to take a 5-1 win and improve to 17-9 on the season. They stand half a game back of Lakeshore for the South Division lead. La Crosse has their first off-day of the season on Monday.
