Coach Z eyes NBA Draft and Coach Z Hoops Camp

La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW)  The Milwaukee Bucks hope to add a key piece or two to their roster this Thursday night during the NBA Draft.

They will select 15th in the first round, the first of the non-lottery picks.

Washington Wizards assistant coach Don Zierden was in La Crosse a short while ago to talk about the draft.

Zierden and the Wizards finished right behind the Bucks in the eastern conference.

How the Bucks tinker their roster will have an impact on what the Wizards will do this off-season.

"What are they going to do with their roster? We're going to keep an eye on that because they were a playoff team last year and that's a team we want to pass up. They're going to have some decisions to make with their guard situation. They have some free-agents with Redick and Dunleavy and also with Brandon Jennings and now Monta Ellis. They're not going to be able to keep all of those players so it's going to be very interesting. One of the first things the coach is going to have to do with the front office is decide what direction they want to go in with personnel," Zierden said.

By the way, Zierden is bringing back his annual Coach Z Hoops Camp.

It's July 31st through August 1st at the La Crosse Center.

It's for kids ages 5-14.
