MENOMONIE (WQOW) - A teenager accused of disrupting a local high school graduation ceremony now faces criminal charges.
Henry Erdahl is accused of 'streaking' the Menomonie High School graduation ceremony earlier this month. Erdahl, from Menomonie, is 17. Police say he was wearing only a black mask and shoes when he ran in front of the ceremony. They say he exposed himself to a majority of the estimated 1,000 adults and children in the crowd.
An officer chased Erdahl for several blocks. Police say he told them he did not have a reason for what he did, but said he thought of the idea the previous day. He's now charged with lewd behavior, disorderly conduct, and obstructing an officer.
