BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The man named by authorities as a suspect in a homicide earlier this month in Black River Falls is now back in Jackson County.
Sheriff Duane Waldera issued a statement Wednesday afternoon that said that officers went to Milwaukee and brought back Michael Harmon to the Jackson County Jail.
Sheriff Waldera said that Harmon is jailed on a probation hold.
Black River Falls Police named Harmon as a suspect in the homicide of Angela Nelson. Her body was found June 9 in the apartment she shared with Harmon. Police said that Harmon was the last person seen with Nelson.
Harmon was tracked down to the Milwaukee area where he was eventually taken into custody.
Sheriff Waldera said the homicide is still under investigation and that no criminal complaint has been filed.
