FRENCH ISLAND, Wisconsin (WXOW) - The Town of Campbell is getting ready to move from a small room in the town hall into an old church on the corner of Fanta Reed Road and Lake Shore Drive.
The library still needs about $60,000 worth of funding before it opens its doors to the public. The new library is scheduled to be completed on July 1 but is missing bookshelves and other furniture for staff and community members.
The library is moving in order to make room in the town hall for emergency services.
Shenanigan's Entertainment Center on French Island will hold a fundraiser on July 27 for that new furniture. The event will run from 11 A.M. to 10 P.M. and will feature food, games and live music.
