LA CROSSE, WI (WXOW) - On Thursday we will be celebrating our country's independence, with food, festivities, and fireworks!
Snap Fireworks has been selling fireworks locally for three years.
Last year with the drought they weren't selling as many fireworks because of all the fire bans.
But this year with more wet weather business is back to normal.
Employees say fireworks are a fun summer tradition.
Matt Nereng at the Onalaska location says, "it's just something that the kids look forward to every year. Just like Christmas, except at the opposite end of the year. These are like there toys, they get to open up there presents but instead of literally opening them up they light them off."
Snap Fireworks will be open the Fourth, Fifth and the Sixth of July from 10 am to 9 pm.
There is an Onalaska location by Shopko and one on the Southside of La Crosse near Walmart.
Don't forget you must be 18 years old to buy fireworks.
