LA CROSSE, Wisconsin (WXOW) -- An SUV ran into a La Crosse building Sunday evening just after 8 p.m.
A Toyota RAV 4 drove into Sir Speedy Signs and Banners, at the corner of Rose and Monitor streets.
The majority of the car's front end was inside the business when first responders arrived on the scene.
A police officer said he could not yet say if the incident resulted in any injuries.
A reporter on the scene said police were putting the driver of the SUV through a field sobriety test.
The building's owner said this is the second time a vehicle has run into the structure this year.
Firefighters say the driver was already out of the vehicle sitting on the curb when they arrived on scene.
Lieutenant Tim Knudsen of the La Crosse Fire Department said, "the car getting into this situation there's always danger this is a pretty heavily walked area the neighborhood so were fortunate that nobody was in the way or that there wasn't another car or somebody in the building at the time."
Knudsen says the building does not have any structural damage but this isn't the first time a car has driven into this building.
It happened six months ago and the building's owner, Kevin Fisk, finished replacing the front door just last week.
Fisk had a good attitude about the situation, "What do ya do? you cant get too mad. Insurance will cover it so you know you gotta take it with a grain of salt."
Fisk says the re-building shouldn't affect his business.
