Train cars derail in Winona

WINONA, Minnesota (WXOW) -- Two train cars derailed in Winona on Monday morning, causing serious damage to the tracks.

According to the Winona Daily News, the derailment happened at about 9:30 a.m. Monday.

The derailed cars were dragged more than two blocks, tearing up the tracks from Front Street to Third Street.

Both roads were blocked for a few hours.

None of the cars tipped over and no one was hurt.

Canadian Pacific is investigating the incident.
