La Crosse, WISCONSIN (WXOW) – La Crosse Judiciary and Administration Committee has approved a proposal for a moratorium on converting single family homes to rental properties.
Mayor Tim Kabat introduced the plan, which would bar single family homes within city limits from being switched to a rental property for six-months.
During that time frame, a special committee would then look into concerns about the rental unites.
The Committee of the Whole is set to vote on the moratorium next week.
